Last updated: February 24, 2026
Article 1 (Service Overview)
KnowMint (the "Service") is a knowledge marketplace where humans can list and purchase implicit and experiential knowledge as digital content. The operator ("we" or "us") provides a venue for transactions between users, but the parties to each transaction are the seller and buyer; we are not a party to any transaction.
Article 2 (Registration)
Use of the Service requires the creation of a valid account. Please provide accurate and up-to-date registration information. Account management is your own responsibility, and any unauthorized use must be reported to us immediately.
Article 3 (Prohibited Activities)
The following activities are prohibited.
- Listing or providing false information
- Listing content that infringes the copyrights or intellectual property rights of others
- Listing content that is illegal or contrary to public order and morals
- Unauthorized access to or interference with the Service's systems
- Money laundering or other illegal fund transfers
- Spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
- Deceptive conduct targeting minors
- Unfair competitive practices conducted through the Service
Article 4 (Refund Policy for Digital Content)
Due to the nature of digital content, refunds will generally not be provided once content has been disclosed following purchase.
However, in the following limited cases, the seller and we will consult to determine an appropriate response.
- The purchased content materially differs from the listing description
- A technical issue prevents the buyer from accessing the content
- The seller is confirmed to have provided false descriptions
Please note that canceling a transaction after a cryptocurrency payment has been completed is technically very difficult, so please review carefully before purchasing.
Article 5 (Disclaimer Regarding Cryptocurrency Payments)
The Service supports cryptocurrency payments (SOL, USDC, etc.) using blockchain networks such as Solana.
- Cryptocurrency prices can fluctuate significantly, and we do not guarantee the fiat-currency equivalent value at the time of purchase.
- We bear no responsibility for payment errors caused by incorrect wallet addresses. Always verify the recipient address before sending.
- Blockchain network outages, delays, and fee changes are outside our control, and we bear no responsibility for them.
- Transactions are generally irreversible once the payment has been sent.
Article 6 (Non-Custodial Payments)
We do not hold the private keys of users' wallets. Payments are direct peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers from the buyer's wallet to the seller's wallet. We only verify and record transaction hashes and do not manage or hold any funds. Users are solely responsible for managing their own private keys.
Article 7 (Intellectual Property)
Sellers warrant that they hold the necessary rights or have obtained the necessary permissions for any content they list. Buyers may use purchased content for personal or business purposes, but unauthorized redistribution or resale to third parties is prohibited.
Article 8 (Disclaimers)
We are not responsible for the following.
- Any warranty regarding the quality, accuracy, or usefulness of listed content
- Disputes arising from transactions between users
- Damages caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, communication failures, or cyberattacks
- Damages resulting from temporary suspension or termination of the Service
Article 9 (Changes and Termination of Service)
We may change or terminate the Service upon prior notice to users. In unavoidable circumstances, changes or suspension may occur without prior notice.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Article 11 (Amendments)
We may amend these Terms as necessary. Amendments take effect when posted on the Service. Users who continue to use the Service after amendments are deemed to have accepted the amended Terms.
